Lorenz's Bar & Cafe is located at the top of the mountain road, not far from where you park your car (1630 meters above sea level). Operating hours are 8.30am to 4.30pm.
Or ride the chairlift to NZ's highest cafe, the stunning new Knoll Ridge Cafe.
Operating hours are 9.30am 3.30pm.

The Vertical @ Whakapapa retail store is located at the top of the mountain road, not far from where you park your car (1630 meters above sea level). Open daily, regardless of the weather, our retail store caters for all your on-mountain needs with our range of outerwear, streetwear, headwear, eyewear, footwear, accessories and souvenirs.
For hire are waterproof outerwear, hiking boots and trekking poles.
The store is the hub of Whakapapa's Summer Program providing information, advice, help with bookings and friendly customer service.
Operating hours are 8.30am - 4.30pm
