Course details

The Turoa 11 Weekend Prep Course is specifically designed to provide individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to teach skiing or snowboarding to an intermediate level. This course is aimed at individuals wanting to train toward instructor certification in a professional, informative and fun environment. The course will ideally suit people who are currently employed Mon-Fri, 9-5 or who are tertiary students.

During the prep course participants will be instructed by our expert trainers using NZSIA technique and progressions, video analysis, rider improvement and shadow teaching opportunities.  Participants enjoy queue privileges to maximise the training opportunities on busy weekend days. The 11 Weekend Prep Course fully utilises our vast and challenging terrain on the two largest ski areas in NZ.

Price and inclusions

Level 1 registration and NZSIA manuals (NZ$570) are included in the price. This way we can assure you get registered for the courses and you'll have a manual the first weekend.

Lift passes and Level 2 certification costs are not included in the price.

This course runs for 11 weekends starting from the 24 July 2010.
