Judging Categories

This is not a sanctioned International Free Skiers' Association (IFSA) event but we do follow the same judging format. The information below is taken from the IFSA Judging Guidelines book.

competitors will be marked on the following categories on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the highest score possible:

  • Line - degree of difficulty
  • Control
  • Fluidity
  • Form & technique
  • Aggressiveness

Each category holds equal weight. However, the categories can have an effect on each other. ie: Falling has a significant effect on categories 2, 3, 5 and possibly 4.
