Dukes sound like rock'n'rhythm'n'soul and own the classic records; Exile on Main Street by the Stones, Bayou Country by Creedence, Motown Gold, and Johnny Cash Live at San Quentin. It's the good times mixed interminably with nostalgia and melancholy. Recording in Christchurch, mixed in London, mastered in Auckland, the Dukes are undoubtedly the South Island's latest and greatest musical act and with invitations to play Nashville, Tennessee, they'll be riding that old freight train one way or another.
