Safety Info For Sleds - Please Read
Please be aware that as snow levels vary early and late season the sliding area may be closed due to lack of snow or unsafe surface conditions. Check the snow report on this website for details. Sliding is great fun but please remember to stay safe by following the guidelines below:
- Helmets are recommended.
- Conditions can be variable – start small and progress at your own risk.
- Be considerate to other sliders.
- Walk up the sides of the sliding run to avoid being hit by sliders.
- If possible slide individually, otherwise place smaller people behind larger ones to avoid the bulldozer effect.
- Just like at the beach always slide within the designated area as unmarked hazards exist outside this zone.
