Conditions are current at time of reporting and can change quickly. If weather conditions deteriorate during the day we may close lifts earlier than planned. If this happens, and you miss your lift ride down, you will have to make your own way back to the base area on foot. Follow the blue markers starting from the top of the Waterfall Express Chairlift.

Whakapapa Ski Area is now CLOSED for the 2011 winter season. The Vertical Retail Store and Lorenz's Cafe and Bar will stay open. Vertical has a great sale on from 25 - 50% off selected items. Come up for some lunch and retail therapy!!
