The Snow Bases are Building

We have had snow overnight at both Whakapapa and Turoa Ski Areas and good bases are building! At Turoa there was more snow on the road than the ski field, which does happen some times! We are snowmaking currently and it is also snowing. At Whakapapa we received 15 cms at the top of the Express.
This morning at Turoa we do not have enough snow to open the upper trails and at this time we do not have enough to open the Alpine Meadow; however if we can make snow all day and tonight we may be able to open it in the morning. We have staff rostered are are ready to go and we will update the snow report at 7.am.
