That's all folks! Whakapapa's last day of operation was meant to be today, unfortunatley Mother nature had other ideas and we are closed today.
The ski areas might be closed today, but there is still loads to do around the Ruapehu region........

From a very murky, cloudy, morning we now have some fabulous blue sky and sunshine on offer! The winds are still a bit high at Whakapapa - lets hope this drops back. Turoa is looking good, the visibility has cleared. Should be a great day!

Due to the recent weather conditions and the snow that has fallen on the Ohakune Mountain Road the events team at the Powderhorn Chateau have postponed the event with safety in mind....you now have an extra week of training up your sleeve!
