Export 33 Xtreme
This four star Freeride World Tour Qualifier put Mt Ruapehu on the map in the Big Mountain Freeride World.
Competitors ride the gnarliest terrain Whakapapa Ski Area can offer and are judged over a several days to claim stake to bragging rights and massive winnings, including USD$10,000 Mens Ski First Place!
Rego night will be at Basekamp (Carroll Street National Park Village) on the 4th of September from 7pm.
After each day of competition there will be prize giving, results, videos and photos at Basekamp.
The Snowboarding will be held on the first 2 fine days from the 5th of Sept, with the last available day being on Sunday the 11th of Sept.
The Skiing will be held on the first 3 fine days from the 5th of Sept, with the last available day being on Sunday the 11th of Sept.
The schedule will be: 6.30 am Web to text sent out to all competitors of likelihood of competition (weather + snow conditions)
8.00 am Web to text update if needed
9.00 am Lifts open
10.30am Rider briefing
11.00 am Course inspection
12.30 pm Start first fun
4.00 pm Lifts close
7.00 pm Results etc. @ Basekamp
