Checklist for your group's visit

In preparation for your visit, we have put together a checklist of the important things you need to ensure you have done before coming to the mountain. Below also some useful 'Tips for your visit' documents including more extensive information.

  1. Booking form sent in and written confirmation received from your Schools & Groups Co-ordinator (contact us if you do not have written confirmation within 2 weeks of sending in your booking form).
  2. Prepare for all weather conditions – check the weather forecast.
  3. Transport organised, including chains or back-up options if road is icy (we are unable to provide shuttles). More information on Getting Up the Mountain.
  4. Back-up plan in place in case the mountain is closed due to bad weather - listings of other activities in the area.
  5. Accommodation organised

  6. Completed any safety documentation required by school/organisation - see our Risk Analysis page

  8. Briefed teacher/parent/adult helpers
  9. All group members prepared with necessary equipment (see also Tips for your Visit document)
  10. Rental cards completed
