Sightseeing and Snowplay

Sightseeing

A Sightseeing Chairlift ride is a great way to check out the upper slopes. See what the skiers and snowboarders are doing further up the field and take in the spectacular views from the highest mountain in the North Island. You can do this whilst having a scrumptious hot chocolate and a bite to eat at either the award-winning Knoll Ridge Cafe at Whakapapa Ski Area, or the Snowflake Cafe at Turoa Ski Area.

This is an awesome Alpine Experience for young and old!

Our rental outlets have waterproof clothing and walking boots to keep you warm and dry and both Vertical Retail Stores sell a great range of mittens and eye protection to enhance the experience. Find out more about rental clothing and sightseeing passes.
