2024 Whakapapa Season Passes on sale 15 April until 15 May.

Join our mountain-minded community on the regular with a 2024 Whakapapa Season Pass. A Season Pass gives you unlimited access to all facilities at Whakapapa, across the season, weekdays or ‘anytime’ of your choosing. No blackouts.

Invest a little more for greater piece of mind with our Season+ and SeasonFlexi Passes, which cover you in the case of unexpected injury or illness, or a change in priorities, with a partial or full refund.

Free Season Passes for 10 and unders

In 2024, we are bringing the magic back, and we are starting with the future of snowsports in New Zealand - children aged 10 and under. In 2024, Whakapapa Season Passes for children aged 10 and under will be FREE.

"Purchase" a free Season Pass using the options below, before 15 May, and experience the magic of your child thriving on the slopes of Whakapapa.

Please note, only available during the 2024 Season Pass sale window - until 15 May 2024. Not available in-season. Free Child Season Passes do not include the regular Season Pass benefits of four 50% off Buddy Passes, or the two Day Passes to Tūroa. They do however receive the 15% off on-mountain discounts, and 50% off night skiing (and bundles) for SnowPlanet

More Season Pass perks

In 2024, the magic of a Whakapapa Season Pass starts before and continues long after our winter season. Season Pass holders will receive 50% off night passes and combos (including rentals) at SnowPlanet and three free days skiing or snowboarding at any other participating Powder Alliance resort. Blackouts apply.

Also included in the 'perks' of a 2024 Season Pass are four 50% off buddy passes to be used on any lift pass at Whakapapa, and two days skiing or snowboarding at Tūroa Ski Area. On mountain benefits include 15% off lessons - both private and group lessons, food and beverages, retail, rentals, and sledding.

Please note, the allocation of buddy passes and two days skiing or snowboarding at Tūroa Ski Area are not included with a free Child Season Pass.

2024 Day Passes

Day Passes are a great option for those planning to visit Whakapapa as a one off, or fewer than a handful of times in a season.

In 2024, our Day Passes are split by all mountain or lower mountain, which gives you access to our dedicated learner facility, Happy Valley, and the Rangatira Chairlift for progression.

You can also choose to visit on a weekday at a discounted rate, or weekend day. Day Passes are open dated, meaning you can use them any time throughout the season.

Accompanying Adult Pass
Support your kids on foot in our learner area, Happy Valley. A pass reserved for adults, who are not skiing or snowboarding themselves, with small children they want to help and instruct. An accompanying adult pass is for one adult supporting up to two children under the age of 11 years old.
